An entry with many not-so-mind-boggling thoughts.

The tablet war.

(Photo from CNET | Asia)

I have finally decided to be a future owner of a little tablet. At first, I was 100% certain that I would be getting the iPad mini. After all, I have been coveting it months before its official release! I am not the early adopter type and though I know quite a bit about technology, I'm far from being tech savvy. So why do I want this? Because I find it to be useful and it's just convenient, really. (And okay, an iPad mini just looks like a ton of fun!) Before I "lost" my iPod Touch, the gadget and I were practically inseparable because of all its useful functions (to which I nearly forgot I owned a mobile phone). It'll be the same for the iPad mini, I'm sure of it as it has all the apps that I could possibly need at home, at work, and whilst I'm sitting by my lonesome in a coffee shop. Haha! I didn't like the iPad so much because it was honestly way too big for my liking. So when I heard of then rumors of the iPad mini, I was sooo sure of myself that this would be the perfect thing for someone like me!

Of course I know of the other tablets: the Galaxy Tab, Nexus, and Kindle Fire. I didn't pay much attention to them because of the familiarity with Apple, I guess. But anyway, now that the purchase will be made very, very soon, I suddenly find myself going through all these reviews and tablet comparisons. I've been reading a lot of articles here and there and now I feel so torn! The Kindle Fire HD seems like a very practical buy because its specs are a bit higher than the iPad mini AND it costs a lot less! Same story with the Nexus. The Galaxy Tab doesn't veer too far from the mini (Samsung does create most of the insides of Apple products after all), tech and price wise, so I would still opt for the mini. Buuuut! Nexus or Kindle Fire HD?! Then again, I could always stick to the original plan: an iPad mini. ♥

Oh yeah. I will be getting the new iPod Touch for sure. FOR FRIGGIN' SURE.

I find these icky.
- Girls with tattoos.
- Guys with TOO MUCH/TOO BIG tattoos.
- Guys with an earring (or two).
- Girls with piercings on other parts of the body, aside from the ears.
- Dirty finger and toenails.
- When people chew with their mouths open.
- Loud, obnoxious people, when they are completely sober.

The secret pins.
So Pinterest has this new feature wherein you can make a few Secret Boards. I made one and it consists of wedding ideas! I'm not exactly addicted to Pinterest (yet!), but this new feature somehow takes me a little closer to the addiction. Haha! But in all seriousness, lace-y wedding gowns are so so so beautiful! :')

Maybe someday. Who knows?

Christmas in the air.
The nights have been getting more and more chilly, which I adore! But I'm thinking of being more festive than usual this year. Just a thought. I'd love tons and tons and tons of Christmas lights. Actually, I just want Christmas lights in my bedroom so it'd give off that sweet, mystical feel. I don't know if I'm making sense. But really, Christmas lights may be used all-year round.

I want to start putting up Christmas decorations with the team in the office as well. :') Definitely going to start buying some stuff soon! I will check Pinterest for more ideas. Haha!

Not enough skin.
Yesterday (Thursday), I wore a rather long dress to work. And had my blue blazer thing over it. Needless to say, I was "covered up". I picked up the dress in Mother's closet; she's never worn it before and do not intend to so she gave it to me. I thought I'd make good use of it.

Anyway, a lot of people told me I was very blue today. Which is the absolute truth! Haha! I got the "that is not your usual get up" looks as well. But most of the things people said to me were nice. :)

But when I came home, my very own mother blurted out, as I walked in the house, "Bakit ang haba ng dress mo? Iklian mo yan ha. Nakakapanibago. Hindi bagay sayo! Mukha kang manang!" She is the sweetest, don't you think? Haha! But I think MW would agree. So I suppose I will be chopping the dress off. Or not wear it again.

I guess I was a little surprised with her reaction because she's usually checking the length of my skirts and dresses and sometimes complains about them being too short (to which she says, "mag shorts ka nalang" or "okay lang 'yan, naka-kotse ka naman"). So anyway, she told me to trim the dress to a more "suitable" length. She was really bothered. Really. Hahahaha. Do I really show a lot of skin? Or legs? Haha!

On the other hand, my mother adored this semi-long dress. Haha. I love it, too. =)

Friday, hooray!
Or maybe not just yet. I still have tons of things to work on in the office! Buuuut! I am most definitely looking forward to not having to come to work on Monday. Heeheehee.

Maybe I'll file another leave later. After all, I have three SILs left. =)
