I don't think I think enough.

Strong is the new skinny.

Or, strong is the new beautiful. *laughs*

I'm not sure, exactly, of the origin of such line(s), but I think they're rather brilliant. For one, when I became accustomed to exercising regularly, I stopped desiring to be skinny (though I still want to get rid of icky fats, especially around my midsection and thighs). Instead, I wanted to be healthy. I think it worked itself out pretty well as I've altered my eating habits completely, which takes up a big chunk of my lifestyle. Anyway, I think we all know what happened. My BMI is currently 21.3, which I find amazing because I used to be somewhere around 25–26, which indicates that one is overweight. Now I'm...normal according to health standards. This matters a great deal to me because my health matters. :)

After my steps, I tried this!

I've just finished my routine and added that 10-minute circuit (up there ^ ). I swear, my shirt was covered in sweat afterwards. In fact, even my sweatshirt had blotches of sweat all over! Haha. (I still put on a full attire - thick sweatshirt, sports bra, and sneakers - even though though I just work out at home.) I thought the 10-minute circuit was quite easy, but man, does it burn! (Even better!)

Healthy is the new strong. Hmmm. Why not?! :) I'm grateful that I don't have any vices, like smoking or drinking. I'm soooo glad I got over the drinking like a rockstar phase in college. I don't know how people can stand smoking on a daily basis and still have the immune system to go drinking on the weekends. I find it really repulsive, no offense. But oh well, I'm not the one who has to face the consequences (except, maybe, for times when I have to inhale second-hand smoke HAHA).

I'm glad our parents are ever-so lenient with us. They allow(ed) us to try stuff out because it's your life. I remember Pops telling me this, repeatedly, in the past: I'll let you drink and smoke and try things out, just for the sake of trying. Now, if you choose to make a habit out of it, that's your choice. It's your life; you will face the consequences, not me. I must have been in high school, but such words of wisdom still ring true.

It's pouring like crazy again and I'm not the least bit upset. I love the rain too much. Yesterday, I thought I'd left the house rather early. I was walking and waiting for a tricycle to pass me by, but none would come and it started raining -- hard! I stood at the waiting shed for a few minutes, but there weren't any "available" tricycles, so I called home and asked Pops to pick me up (which was a block away from our house! LOL). So I ended up taking the car (and I really didn't want to because I was too lazy to drive). When I came upon Daang-Hari, dry roads and semi-sunshine greeted me. This weather is mad. Longest monsoon yet and I'm not even complaining. :)

My room is was as messy as my thoughts.
(Even with the face mask on, I still suffered from dust allergies. HATE.)
Believe it or not, a 17-inch Macbook is on that shelf. Can you spot it? LOL!

Before & After
Okay, things are getting better. I threw out three pairs of footwear & a bunch of other stuff.
I have more than twenty notebooks/journals/diaries/planners -- most filled up; some empty.
Memories from elementary school up to this day are written in the notebooks sitting on my shelves.
:')

Letters and greeting cards from friends, some dating back to 1995!
I miss handwritten letters. :')

I think I'm 80% done with the thorough cleaning of my room. I'm not entirely sure about cleaning my closets out because I have so many clothes despite always complaining that I have nothing to wear. Le sigh. Perhaps I'll get to it when I've finally managed to purchase a new wardrobe. (HAHAHAHA Wardrobe talaga?!) I hate cleaning, but I love being tidy. I seriously don't know how my room turns into a hurricane site. But, as always, I'll do my best to keep things neat. Organized. In order.

When I get my own space, I'm totally going to keep it minimal. That, or I'll hire a cleaning lady twice a week. Hahaha. Pinterest, please help me organize my shizz. LOL!

I am in love. And nothing in this post touches the subject.
