I don't think I think enough.

I would if I could.

I should be listing down the ingredients I need for dinner tonight because I will be cooking for my beloved Nanay's birthday. I can't believe she turns fifty (5-0!) today! She doesn't even look anywhere near that age. Hehe. =)

But yeah. I suddenly thought of Looklet as I was scouting around for appropriate office attire at the mall last night (so much stuff on sale, none of which I found interesting enough!). Turning to Looklet for help is always a good idea; it's like a virtual paper doll. Haha! I've been using this site for a couple of years now; too bad they disabled the membership. That was so much fun! Looklet is tons better than Polyvore, if you ask me, because you get to see how the outfits you've created look like on an actual person. Le sigh. (I heart Polyvore, still. Hehe.)

Meet Miu, my favorite Looklet model.

Stuff I actually have: the black blazer, the black dress (not exact, but very close), and high top Chucks (in navy blue). I wouldn't mind coming in to work in such an outfit. In fact, I'd be delighted to! But of course, we all know better. (Also, my legs are not as slender as Miu's, so I'd probably look ri-dik-yuh-luhs.

Simple. Chic. Basic. Plain colors always work best. Check out the heels. I'm thinking of buying slacks (the ones I have in my closet are too big for me now), but the thought of having to iron is never, ever an appealing one to me. Gah.

A thought hit me earlier this week: I think I need to dress my age. A little more on the sophisticated side, perhaps. And I need to "practice" wearing real office clothes as well, just as I have in the past (like, umm, college). I want to go shopping. I wish I could just grab the stuff I post on Pinterest straight from my computer screen or something. That would be amazing.

Anyway. I think I've put off my desire to sew clothes for far too long now. Fabric. Patterns. Sewing machine. This needs to happen soon.
