Ice cold shower at 4am.
I like exercising. I really do. Being covered in sweat and your body aching all over from all the activity is something that I relish. It's just too bad that my laziness get the best of me most times. But it's okay; I try.
So I exercised for a little over an hour this morning and stepped into the shower at 4am; no hot water, just ice cold liquid pouring from the shower head. It felt great. Perhaps this is the reason why I'm wide awake; the cold water must have woken my senses. But I really ought to sleep. Music is playing in my ears, but the sound of rain outside continues to overpower the artists' voices. It's still raining hard. It stops, it rains a little, it rains hard. It's a cycle, and apparently, for the last twenty-four hours or so, all everyone in the Metro could probably hear was the loud, angry rain. One could try to drown the sound of rain out, but it's practically useless. I love the rain; it's one of my favorite things in the world. However, I don't appreciate it causing so much damage unto others -- family, friends, and thousands of others across the country. Mad weather.

Work was suspended yesterday so I spent a few hours cooking in the late afternoon and into the evening. It was nice. I liked how I was able to make use of some leftovers in the fridge. :) I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen quite a lot, so I suppose this is one of the reasons why I have difficulty keeping weight off. I gained 6-8 pounds since June, by the way. Lovely. Just lovely.

Blessed beyond belief.
Good morning, world.
