Magic in the rain.

I had an amazing weekend, which is now coming to a close -- with a huge smile painted across my face and my heart fluttering. Okay, I'm kinikilig. No kidding. :")

I just feel so awesome; there really is no other word to describe it. Okay, maybe asdfghjkl would suffice.

I really thought Saturday was going to be a lazy day, but I was definitely looking forward to spending the afternoon + night with the Awesome Girls. Needless to say, I lazed around the house (which meant I didn't get to do the things on my 'To Do' list) and left in the afternoon. I did, however, manage to go to the bank (thank goodness Chinabank in SM is open on Saturdays!) to do my monthly transaction then Bitok and I window-shopped. (Seriously, not enough hipster - HAHA- shoe stores in SM.)

Anyway, I ended up watching Unofficially Yours with Aizel, Bea, and Belle. We most definitely have a knack for watching cheesy + corny Pinoy movies. We like to think we're helping boost the Filipino film industry. LOL! It was a fun movie overall; I enjoyed the humor all throughout and the way the story was portrayed seemed realistic enough, never mind the cliché and super cheesy moments. Oh, and the ever-long dialogue by Cess as she told the story of her past. HAHA. The ending seemed bitin as well. For the most part, I left the cinema thinking to myself, "I'd really like to have a bunch of dude friends like Mackie's. Dude friends are really cool." The effect of having two brothers. Yup. Had dinner at Kenny Roasters with the ladies afterward. Chill night. ;)

So anyway. This was fun to watch. Yeah.

I decided not to be lazy after church this morning and went to Healthway for my annual physical exam. I just wanted to get that out of the way, really. So glad there weren't too many people around as it is a Sunday, but I still had to do a lot of waiting here and there, which wasn't much of a burden because Bitok was with me and I brought Aleph along, so I was able to get a ton of reading done. Happiness. :') I'm definitely loving the book as I turn one page to another. It's just so good. And everything makes sense. And Paulo Coelho definitely hit a lot of spots within me, like he was speaking directly to me. Does anyone else experience that when reading a book? I feel it all the time. Haha! Anyway, I ought to scan some of my notes / favorite lines and passages from the book and post it here. Even while waiting for our food at Fukuya (yay, Japanese food! but boo, I had rice, which made my tummy ache a little after), my nose was in the book as Baby Brother played with his chopsticks. Haha! (But yes, I did put the book down for and talked to my brother about a bunch of things. Apparently, he's my personal therapist. He listens to my "stories" and gives me advice. LOL!)

Bitok seriously failed with the chopsticks. -__-;;;

We then proceeded to go shoe-hunting and were successful this time. Very successful, might I concur. We both wanted shoes from DC, but the prices were not within our budget. HAHA! (We're supposed to be "watching out" for one another with regards to finances.) I ended up buying a pair of shoes for him from Zoo York (yay, they were on SALE!) and I bought a pair of navy, high-cut Chuck Taylors from Converse. (I couldn't wait for the grey ones that I wanted; besides, even the salespeople didn't know if they were coming out again as they were limited edition shoes. Gah. T_T) Needless to say, we were very pleased with our purchases. (But I'd still go for Advan any time of the day. Oh! And my Solemate flats, of course. :P Support the Filipino shoe industry! HAHA!)

I'm bringing back my tomboyish style. I think. Gradually. :)
(I haven't worn Chucks since college! And I still want skater shoes, like the ones I
had when I was in middle school. Teehee.)

Bitok likes the simple stuff. Okay, I admit, I wanted to buy a pair of mens' Zoo York
kicks because they looked so cool. The salesman was about to look for the smallest
size...HAHA!

Okay, yes, we both agree that retail therapy works. LOL! :D

Went home and talked to Richie on Skype, who is NOT bald, contrary to popular belief (okay, just me, really). KID BROTHER, Y U TROLL ME. SRSLY. LOL.

Nope, not bald at all.

---

Went off to meet Princess at SM. Okay, I felt like I was walking with a supermodel at the mall; she is such a head turner! :) A 5'11" with a pretty face and a trolley (yes, the luggage kind) behind her. Haha! Had night snacks at Sbarro (thanks for dessert, dear!) and talked about grown-up life. NAKS. That was definitely fun. So chill, but fun. So many adventures from the past, the present, and the future. =)

Third meet-up with Cess this year after three (??) years of not seeing each other! Haha! Love itttt. <3

It was raining when we got out of the mall, but guess who I bumped into and caught up with? LAKSDJFPAIOEJLAKSDMFAL;SDKJFAPETFADSKLMF. My goodness gracious, thank God I was in a proper state of mind and was able to communicate well. I got wet in the rain, but so what? It was definitely all worth it! Yay for new (well, sorta old) friends! :) Thank You, Lord, I love You! You always know how to make my heart flutter with happiness. ☼

No expectations, just living life as it is. :)

I just realized...I have no photos from last night's movie + dinner date with the Awesome Girls. No photos from tonight's meet-up with Cess as well. Phone photos from today's bonding with Bitok. Haha. Is this for real? Am I getting tired of bringing my camera with me? NOOOOOOO. :'( I'll stop being lazy and bring ze cameruh more often. =)

This was an awesomely-awesome weekend. Bow. Thank You, Lord!
