I like the cover better.
Think about it, there must be higher love
Down in the heart or hidden in the stars above
Without it, life is wasted time
Look inside your heart, I'll look inside mine
Things look so bad everywhere
In this whole world, what is fair?
We walk blind and we try to see
Falling behind in what could be
Bring me a higher love
Bring me a higher love, oh
Bring me a higher love
Where's that higher love, I keep thinking of?
I've been listening to James Vincent McMorrow's version of Higher Love on repeat yesterday. It's just so soothing to listen to. :) It's a great song overall; I love the lyrics as well.
James Vincent McMorrow's vocals = just smile and close your eyes.
I'm sorry, but I think I like the cover better than the
Steve Winwood (no, I don't know him) original. Hihihi.

RICHIE! I know you're reading this shizz. Check out that indie folk artist, James Vincent McMorrow. He's pretty cool. (Oh, wait. Did I just 'expose' him and make him un-indie? LOL! Miss you, Kid Brother. Send me more photos and a list of indie artists, yes? Yes.)
