Dear Time, I need more of you.
It's such a shame that out of the twenty-four hours given in a day, nine hours must be spent in the office, working. (Okay, there are bits of breaks in-between, but they're only ever enough for a whiff of fresh air, a quick walk around the mall, or a hasty dinner with friends.) There's so much I want to do at the moment, but apparently have no time for since it is nearly four in the morning.
Things time won't allow me to do (at the moment, and well, sometimes): » Watch the latest episode of Glee, The First Time » Watch and relish Florence + The Machine videos, especially live performances (semi-obsessed with Flo at the moment; she's uh-mey-zing!) » Watch stupid YouTube videos Bitok insists I watch because they're supposedly hella funny » Write a very detailed e-mail to Gelo (I really have so so so so much to tell!!!) » Update my eight (or nine? or ten?) Tumblr blogs (one account currently has 13,001 followers -- WOW!) » Watch tons of Vimeo videos for some artistic inspiration » Discover new music (and artists and bands and heck, maybe even new genres) » Read books » My laundry (I have an ever-increasing load! ugh.) » Write in my diary (yes, with a pen) » Do further research on a certain important goal » Sew (a bag; a dress; a skirt; a pouch; a shirt) » Go shopping for hours (because shopping is usually done in a rush as there is always something to do) » Spend hours in a coffee shop » Go for a long drive » View friends' photos online » Walking + jogging in the morning » Sleep more » Edit and compile videos (a debut, a wedding, a gig) » Clean + wash the car » Read lyrics of newly-discovered songs » Ride the bicycle » Write lists (of things to do, of bills to pay, of Christmas-related agendas) » Work out on Wii Fit Plus I need to have proper (or perhaps better) time management skills. Frick. ---
On a lighter note, this week has been very, very awesome so far. Aside from Monday's wonderful moments, there have been some things that I take to be noteworthy. I've gotten a new (temporary, of course) tattoo, which made me laugh. The new dispatcher at SM finally remembers who I am. The tricycle driver from last Tuesday night made a mistake with handing me my change (I gave him a 50-peso bill and he gave me two pesos; the fare is just eighteen pesos), and as I waited in the tricycle (I didn't say anything), he looked at the bill and apologized about twenty times. I just smiled and kept telling him it was totally okay, that we make mistakes. (I guess it made me happy because I found hope in that man; that there are still some really good guys around, who are quick to admit their mistakes and simply apologize for it.) I almost fell off the stairs in a really comedic way, which brought bouts of laughter. Laughing with great people in the break room during dinner. Being silly with Janine about any and everything. (I love her to bits, no matter what!) A Twix bar. Hearing Mayweather get burned badly by a DJ. A few awesome group classes and one-on-one students, who are capable of actually giving me joy in what I do. Spontaneous surprises that leave you smiling for a very long time. Making friends with a stranger in a jeepney, which all started with a, "Excuse me, you work for that French company, right?" Feeling bold and confident and not giving a fudge bar with what others think of me.
So many things to be happy and thankful for. God, I love my life. =)
