Sweaty Saturday
Came home at nearly 4 in the morning from a night/morning out with fellow Chubs Girls (haha), Apps and Reva. It's so nice to relax and just have coffee someplace quiet (we've decided how meeting a decent guy at a coffee shop or a bookstore --my dream, sorta!-- far outweighs meeting a decent guy at a bar). Well, anyway, we weren't so quiet; we were talking and laughing til the wee hours of the morning. Haha! Apps drove us home of course; I'm going to miss having her in the same office building. I'm definitely going to miss our YB moments! T_T But for sure, I'm happy for her and I really, really, really hope everything works out well with PAL. :) I know she's been on a search for something better for a while now.

Mother woke me up at 7am this morning, asking me if I wanted to go for a walk with them. I didn't/couldn't get up because 1) I slept at 5am; and 2) Going for a walk/jog at that hour is already kinda late as I always get out by 5:30-6am. But when I did wake up, which was particularly early for me, at 10-something, I was thinking of a way to be productive. Or rather, to make up for my lack of exercise.
So I decided to scrub the flooring of the entire house clean! Thank goodness our house is fairly small. Haha! But yes, I was on all fours, cleaning and scrubbing each tile as best as I could. I definitely sweat like crazy! (I started at 10:45, had lunch for about half an hour at 12nn, and finished all rooms by 15:30!) I wanted to do some workouts on the Wii Fit as well, but couldn't bring my body to do so anymore. Haha! My right arm & leg are in serious pain at the moment. My kneecaps sort of hurt a bit, too, what with all the crawling and all. I also did some stretching as I have had to bend over backwards (much like an acrobat, I presume! LOL) a few times to reach the hidden corners. Haha! I haven't cleaned like that in years! (Usually, Mother just calls the cleaning lady to do all the "hard work". So she was pleasantly surprised when I offered! Haha.)
Next weekend, I might spend the day in the bathroom. I can't wait to brush the tiles clean in there. (I used to do this when my parents would be out of town for a while.) Anyway, there's something about cleaning that pleases me more than the cleaning act itself (if that makes any sense). Plus, it does provide a good workout! HAHA!

We didn't feel like eating rice tonight, so I requested for tossed salad. YUM!!! We had grilled burgers as well. Before driving off to the supermarket, Mother and I were contemplating what to eat! Haha! Yes, we worry about such things in this household. We were basically complaining how difficult it is to please our taste buds.
Tonight's conversation was something like this:
Want chicken?
No. I want tofu.
Cream dory?
No. We always have cream dory. I don't want rice. No pork or beef, either.
Eh ano? Macaroni salad?
With mayonnaise? Umm.. I know, pasta!
Pasta nanaman?
Okay, fine...
Ano kaya masarap kainin...
I'm fine with veggies.
That's it! Salad and burger.
Great!
Haha! OH MY GOSH I LOVE VEGETABLES. I was eating like a little bunny rabbit earlier this evening. ^_^

I love chillax weekends. No visitors. Rain falling from the sky. Cool winds. Aching muscles due to actually having been productive. (Richie was proud and surprised that I was cleaning. We were talking to him on the phone and he was boasting how he need not do chores because the house he lives in is always clean. Haha! He always does the cleaning in our house...I kinda miss him for making things neat in the house. LOL.)
I wish weekends were longer. :)
