And I've, I've never been so alive.
12 Sept | At Aizel's, Verdant
13 Sept | Yellowcab + Starbucks + McDo + Central, BF Resort
I had such an awesome Monday + Tuesday with my Awesome Friends! There's nothing like having siblings in Christ as your core support group. Seven years of friendship and still counting! ^_^ These are the kind of friends I'd love to grow old with. Love each of them so much! <3
Last Monday afternoon, I spent a bit of time with Belle and Aizel at Aizel's house. We were talking about a lot of things with regards to serious life ordeals. Haha. We didn't have much time to talk about tons of other stuff and there were just three of us, so we decided to meet again the next day. So come Tuesday, I met Bea and Jayel at Yellowcab in Las PiƱas; Aizel and Belle followed. We talked and laughed a lot and basically updated one another with the on-goings in our lives. One thing's for sure: we've all definitely grown over the years. It's just nice to be so open with one another about any and everything. We just listen and do not judge one another with whatever we're dealing with. The most important thing is that we support one another just like real families do. I'm so thankful for each of them. So we took turns sharing stuff about one anothers' lives. It's kinda like a share circle, but only better because there's just so much love going on around for one another. It's so easy to let out frustrations, anger, bitterness and all such negative things when talking to them. But of course, we love it even more when we share news of happiness with one another! <3 When we first met, the only problems we shared with each other (that we were dealing with at the moment) were about school: projects, exams, classes, etc. But now we deal with real life issues concerning love, family, relationships, sex, responsibilities, career, future plans, etc. I think this phrase was slightly overused this evening: "Wow, we really are growing up..." I think it's amazing that a group of friends can stick together after all these years. :) After having late lunch/early dinner at Yellowcab, we chilled at Starbucks. Then Bea and Belle had to go, so Aizel, Jy and I ended up staying at McDo for a little while. Then Jy wanted to drink (haha!) so we went to Central in BF Resort. It was a fun evening overall! I can't wait for more hang outs with this awesome bunch! We're all going through tough times in different areas of our lives, but it gets so much easier when you've got friends like them. I'm definitely more than blessed! ^_^ |
