this is a random, no sadness allowed, post
Song currently playing: Walking By - Something Corporate There are times, late at night, when I do not fancy looking out the window. But most of the time, I just move the curtain a bit to get a glimpse of the moon and the few stars around it. I often imagine that the moon looking down on me is like the eye of God. Just up there, watching over me, over all of us. During the day, I tie my curtains up and watch the world outside my window. It's rather large, so I have a pretty good view of people walking on the road or cars just passing through. When I'm fortunate enough, I sometimes witness enraged drivers talking down to the village security guards because they wouldn't let the non-residents pass through. If I were a jerk, I'd get out of the house, walk out of the gate, walk up to the driver's side of the car and choke the driver with a headlock. While he's choking, I'd say something like, "Dude, no sticker, no entry. It's that simple. Just leave an ID; you won't die from doing so!" Some people are just...well, stupid. And since I'm a nice, proper, young lady (haha!), all I ever manage to do is cheer the security guard on and hope he wins in the ever-so-shallow battle. Just because you're driving behind the wheel does not mean you're a rich bastard who can get away with whatever you want, including disrespecting security guards and not following simple rules. Okay, what was the connection of all that with the photo above? Haha. I swear, all I wanted to do was show off my big window and awesome pink, girly curtains, my cozy quilt and fluffy pillow (all of which were sewed with love by my ever-so-lovely mother). Tee hee. Best Nanay everrr! (^_^) -- Dear National Bookstore, I have faith in you once again. Thank you! Love, Me Seriously, I’ve been hunting this book down for months now. Sold out at Greenbelt and Glorietta bookstores. No copies in the nearby bookstores. But I finally checked (again!) at NBS during my break/stroll at the mall yesterday…and voilà! Next thing you know I’m following a sales assistant and we’re standing in between bookshelves and then she’s handing this book over to me. I was so giddy. LOL. There’s nothing like buying a new book. I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE WEEKEND! Free time will be spent drinking tea + reading. ^_^ It’s awesome, too, that I purchased the book yesterday, August 25. The first date of the first journal entry/letter is August 25, 1991. Haha. Okay, blabbing again. So happy. I wish I didn’t have so much work-related things to do (at home and in the office). GAH. Anyway, I also want to buy books by Chuck Palahniuk, which are much easier to find, thank goodness! Which reminds me!!! Totally time to update my Goodreads. There is definitely not enough time within a day for reading, meditating on Bible verses, writing journal entries, discovering new, foreign, beautiful words. -- Speaking of time, I really need to alter my schedule soon! I really would like to fit in a couple of hours for running/exercising.
Current life looks like this on weekdays: 1130-12nn : Get out of bed 1300-1315 : Leave the house 1400-2300 : Office 0000-0230 : kgb_
0230-0430 : Computer stuff (Internet, e-mails, blogging, video editing, etc.) 0430-1130/12nn : sleep Kinda pathetic. And yeah, I do spend way too much time in front of the computer. O_o
What I'd like my schedule/routine to look like: 0500-0700 : Walk/run/exercise 0730-1000 : kgb_
1000-1200 : Extra Internet stuff + nap (hahaha!) 1200-1300 : Get ready for work 1400-2300 : Office 0000-0500 : Sleep And of course, weekends will be spent being lazy. Definitely my favorite! ^_^
Gah, I don't even know. Twenty-four hours seem so insufficient with the number of tasks within a day. It doesn't seem healthy to only have five hours of sleep a day either. But I still feel so unproductive! Le sigh. I need a major schedule revamp! -- Thank God it's finally Friday! This has been a rather happy week, for the most part. Thank You, Lord. :) Song currently playing: Thinking of You - Test Your Reflex
