HELLO, BLOGGER!

Wow, I totally miss this platform. A place where I can type whatever I want, endlessly.

And post pictures of whatever I want. Like this one:
Apparently, I like to fix my hair before each class.

Life has been...I don't know. Good and bad. Exciting and boring. We all have good days and bad days and everything in between. It's a cycle. But it only gets better if you really learn from everything that you go through. I've learned SO MUCH and am continuously learning. It's great, for the most part, because I think I'm becoming a better person. Or at least I hope I am.

I'm still single, which isn't really much of a surprise. But I think I'm getting better with dealing with it. I mean, being at this age and still single. I'd normally be off sulking in a corner about it, but now I'm just like, "yeah, whatever, it's all good". (Of course I still get sad every now and then about it, not gonna lie.) But yeah, this is something that I'd really prefer God to take care of. I see so many broken relationships out there...or relationships for the wrong reasons and it just makes me sad. I hope others would wait for God's chosen partner and experience love in the best way possible. It might take a really, really long time, but I bet the wait will be totally worth it. Uh-oh, ranting on matters of the heart again. Haha! ♥

In other news: I finally got my driver's license! This means I can now legitimately drive my own car wherever I please, by myself. LOL. But of course I haven't really done that yet. I've only brought the car twice to work and to a night out with friends. Parking is the worst thing ever, I swear. Or maybe I'm just too chicken. But yes, I'm still currently working on that bit. I can (kinda) deal with the heavy traffic jam just fine. But parking? Gahhh. I'd prefer long driving anytime, thank you very much. :D I've finally driven on the expressway and I'm hoping to be able to do it more often. Perhaps next time without Pops sitting next to me. Tee hee. More driving practice for me.

God has been extremely awesome with protecting me when I'm behind the wheels; I cannot put enough stress on that. When I get home I'm just totally thankful that everyone is safe and scratch-free. I mean, I've beaten the red light, engine has died in the middle of the road numerous times, almost hit a little girl, made my tires screech from braking suddenly from almost hitting a couple on a motorcycle (who just decided to stop right in the middle of the road!!!) and so much more scary incidents, really. But GOD IS AWESOME. He literally puts a protective shield around me and the others I encounter while driving. I think that's truly amazing.

But wait, there's MORE! Haha! Definitely so much more! I'm just totally overwhelmed with God's love for me and my family. And really, I just wish each person on Earth could experience His love -- the best kind of love there is in the universe! It's such an amazing feeling. :) I'm just totally blessed...and that's the whole truth and nothing but the truth!

I think, in a way, I've been transferring all my positive energy into...COOKING & BAKING! :) Of course I'm currently only capable of cooking pasta, but I'd like to continue learning how to cook other things. Also, I've gone from baking tons of cookies and somewhat creating the "just right" recipe for cookies to currently experimenting with cupcakes. So far, on my third attempt earlier this evening, I've finally gotten the right consistency of the batter, the correct baking temperature as well as the baking time. It's really fulfilling to see others taste what you made and seeing them smile afterwards. And the compliments! Who does not like compliments? Haha! I think I'm getting the hang of it -- making people happy through food. Who would have thought I'd take after Pops' cooking expertise? Haha! And to think that Richie studied all these cooking and baking things! I cook and bake more than he does. LOL. But whatever, who would've thought I'd enjoy cooking this much?! Fun, fun, fun stuff! :)

While I don't always take photographs of my kitchen creations, here are a few captured ones (from the latest to January of this year):

Since I love eating and all, it only makes sense that I actually work on the cooking bit. HAHA! :)

Well this is it for now. Not enough update, but I'll work on it. I miss typing out whatever comes across my mind, whether or not it makes sense. Haha! I need to get on Blogger more often.
