Halloween Shenanigans

Halloween is fun for dressing up and getting candies and all, but I think I'd prefer to be an observer behind the lens. Haha. (Though I'd probably dress up and play along if the theme was Disney, Pixar, Pokemon or early 90's cartoon related! Orrr..DINOSAURS!) So yes, this year I played the role of a photographer and came to work in shorts and a shirt. (I love Fridays and the freedom to wear shorts in the office!!! Though I know it probably still goes against the dress code, I try to get away with it anyway. Ha.) Not quite sure of the theme my team was going for, but they made the most of it. I think. You get old and things bore you faster than they used to.

The day (Oct 29th) also marks my third year with the company. It seemed not so long ago that I stepped in for work on the 29th of Oct in 2007. Time surely flies, except I'm not sure if I'm having fun anymore. Some days are better than others; of that I am certain.

I wish I could celebrate Halloween with my brothers (and the rest of the family, really!) like we used to. Like kids. We totally went all out with dressing up and stuff. If that happens, I'm totally buying a Pokemon or dinosaur costume. Seriously.

I just wish Halloween weren't as lame as it is here in the Philippines.
