Haha, what?
--- Right now I'm eating my dessert: fresh avocado swimming in a bowl of evaporated milk, powdered creamer and Nesquick strawberry syrup. OH YES. This is some really amazing stuff. You just never know what good surprises you'll get when you mix a bunch of sweet ingredients with some good ol' fresh, healthy fruit. At least they balance themselves out! I think?! ^_~ ![]() --- Even the stars Sometimes fade to gray Even the stars Hideaway The Weepies I won't lie: sometimes it just feels so AWESOME to stay home and live the life of a bum. Like last Saturday. I woke up at one in the afternoon, ate lunch, went online. Had grilled hamburgers and fries for dinner then went back online until 2am. Is that the life or what?! Normally, I'd leave my cell phone in the bag I used last (the Friday bag) and won't get it out until Sunday afternoon or night, as I'd need to charge it. But for some reason, I was keeping my phone close to me. Sure enough, late in the afternoon, I get a bunch of text messages and missed calls (yes, still missed them even though they were just inches away from me, haha) from my high school friends telling me to meet up with them for dinner because Luisa had just gotten back for a short vacation from Canada. I was torn in half, really. Half of me wanted to go but the other half wanted to stay in and just chillax with the family. Needless to say, I chose the latter. Meh. Does that make me a bad friend? I hope not. It was just one of those days. So we had awesome dinner. Laughed a lot with the fam. Watched stupid Power Ranger old school videos with my brothers. Laughed even more til the wee hours of night. I still had tons of fun, obviously. :) But the best part was staying in the comfort of my own home. ![]() ![]() The next day we went to church in the morning and had yummy baby back ribs for lunch. WEEEE! :) --- But wait, there's more! HAHA! After lunch on Sunday, we (bros + me) had this fab idea to go bowling or see Transformers 2. We ended up going bowling with Jy and his friends. Since the brothers and I were a bit early, we ended up going around the mall. We stopped by TimeZone (an arcade) to have this done: ![]() I love the Japanese photo booth! HAHA! But we semi-failed because we couldn't get the background to work. LOL Stupid time pressure! Haha. I wanna do this again and again and again! :) Fun stuff! Then we finally met up with Jy and his friends and went bowling. OMG major FAIL for me! Haha! I haven't bowled in such a long time..I swear more than half the time my ball would go to the gutter. Haha. Oh well. That was still some fun-fail stuff. Topped the night off with dinner at T.G.I.Friday's. Weeeeeee! (Well this was semi-fail for my brothers and I as well because the stuff on their menu was the same stuff we've just eaten at home. Haha. Perhaps it's the restaurant's fail. :D) ![]() Well that was fun. --- And now we're back to the real world, the hard-knocked life: WORK. Haha! For the most part, my Monday was not hectic at all. However, I do have some mixed emotions stirring in me at the moment. I'm sad that the students I LOVE have either been transferred to a different time slot (and a different teacher because I'm unavailable during that time) or their enrollement with the English program have expired. It's just really saddening how I've been with them for months (and even a year!) and they are suddenly no longer in my list. I guess I've grown attached to them, for the most part. I'm gonna miss them loads. :'( ![]() Middle Left: Scott, Jim, Roy, Teacher Michelle (standing), Julie, Wendy, Jenny, Sally Bottom Left: Eric, Tina, Denny, Emma, Alice, Susan, Stony Right: Andy [the BEST student-friend!!!] and his adorable daughter, Si Eun :) I swear all my awesome students tend to be pulled away from me in one way or another. :( I have more free time now, yes. But I'm going to miss them (actually, I already do!) so much. -_- --- And that is my life as of the moment. :) |
