i am alive in the rain

I love it when it rains! It makes me feel alive, refreshed and cozy all over. While the people in the neighborhood are probably fast asleep, I'm out on the garage/yard (whatever this outside area of the house is called, haha) doing some work. Yes, you read right: WORK. I'm finishing up my comments for my beloved students and I'll be working on their lessons in a little while, too. I guess it's more convenient this way -- at least, if it's still raining later in the evening, I can tuck myself in early and get a really good and long night's sleep. :)

But then again I also want to do some cleaning in my room. LOL. I might not have the energy to do so if I let the energy pass. How many times have I told myself not to put things off, not to procrastinate? One too many times. So I think I'd better start taking some real action! (Of course, that statement is relevant in other ares of life.) A rather appropriate quote:

"You don't have to be great to get started, but you have to get started to be great."
