I don't think I think enough.

nine minutes to midnight.

And it'll be Monday once again.

Not that I hate Mondays. It's just that I feel like my 3-day weekend was not time well spent. It's so rare to have a weekend that consists of more than two days when you're working for the company I work for. Because of the differences in holidays (Korean vs. Philippine), it's not so easy to follow both holidays. In any case, the Korean holiday will always be followed. Unfortunately, Korean holidays are not as plentiful as the Philippine holidays. Haha.

But anyway..I got sick last Friday. I think it started when I "choked" on a piece of cookie, which then irritated the linings of my throat, hence causing me to have a strep throat the day after. I did manage to get a lot of sleep. In fact, I didn't get out of bed until 4:30 in the afternoon last Friday. Well, sleeping was number one on my list, so I suppose I did get some things done. Haha.

On Saturday, after lunch, Richie and I went to SM and met Jayel, Nates and Dan. We went ice skating (!!!), which was tons of fun! We ended up getting tired and having sore legs from playing Ice Tag and such. Haha. Snacked & hung out at the food court for a while. Walked around the mall..and when my runny nose started to give me a headache, I decided to go home while they went to TimeZone. I didn't get to do the groceries. -__- My parents ended up doing that bit for me later in the evening. I felt extremely sick. But ah, we live on. :)

On Sunday morning I went to a Catholic church. It felt nice and weird at the same time. For the most part, it just reminded me so much of the dozens of masses we attended at Bene during high school. Anyway, I'm not converting to Catholicism (and I have nothing against Catholics); I just had to attend my friend's son's baptismal ceremony. I'm a Ninang -- for the fourth time. ^_^ Stayed at the reception for a while and went home at around 3-ish in the afternoon.

I wanted to GO OUT and do so much more but I couldn't. My body wouldn't allow me to. Since I couldn't go out anyway, I wanted to work on my lessons. But I couldn't do that either because my mind was so sick that it went blank. HAHA.

I guess what I'm really ranting about is that I hate myself for not having been productive over the weekend. I wanted to get so many things done. I wanted to walk around the mall, spend my money on food and unnecessary things. I wanted to have fun. Instead I spent most of the weekend stuck at home, finishing up rolls of tissue, blowing my nose every other five seconds. I hate being / feeling sick. I hate being unproductive (read: doing things that are not work-related). *sigh*

Work again.
Can't wait for May 1 and May 5.
I hope I won't get sick then. Ha.
