idle moments = this:

Today is Monday. Monday means work. Today means the five-day break is over. Back to reality. Stuck on the 10th floor in the Insular Life Bldg, Alabang yet again. (haha, yes, I took that crappy shot -- a year ago!)

Back to reality. Such is life.

Bong will be leaving soon. He's going back to his homeland, South Korea, on Friday. It was kind of sad yesterday, at church. He sang for the congregation before we sent him off with prayers and blessings. It was just so touching having him perform for us -- not to mention the song You Raise Me Up by Josh Groban. No doubt, tears of the young and old in church welled up. *sigh*

I'm going to miss Bong! He's good friends with Richie, so he definitely had his "overnight moments" at our house. He's one of the few people I've come across to easily adjust to different customs/culture. I'm sure he's had a lot of moments wherein he'd put his "homesick" feeling all the way at the back of his head -- but he'd made it through. After eight months. :)

He's definitely touched a lot of peoples' lives here, that's for sure. I really admire his initiative to help others out, especially the LifeGroups (LG) kids that he attends to every Friday morning. He's a great ambassador of Christ and I'm looking forward to him doing greater things in the future. He's going back to college, for now, in Korea, he says. He's a 23-year old mathematician to be! Haha! Can't wait til he visits us again. :)

So I was taken by surprise (in the happiest way!) to find Daniel (aka evil kid student, 22:00) postpone his class with me for two weeks! THANK YOU, LORD! :)

Each time I have class with him, I feel like my veins will burst. But surprise, surprise, no Daniel for two whole weeks! Yesss!

To make up for that, though, I was given a new student. Since there are a gazillion changes going on in the office, our team has somewhat (and will eventually completely) shift to a "JC Team" or otherwise known as "Junior Class". Meaning: KIDS, Kids and MORE KIDS! Haha! I had my first JC student earlier tonight, Byeong Ju. Same age as Daniel, but sooooo much better. I think I'm going to enjoy having kids in class. (That is, if they're not asses like the aforementioned Daniel aka evil kid.) :D

I'm like a zombie at home since we got connected last Saturday. It's like I'm glued onto the internet/computer -- I never run out of things to do or sites to visit or people to chat with. PLUS! I'm on the fourth book, Breaking Dawn, so you could just imagine the very, very, very few hours of sleep I get these days. I am addicted. I need to finish ALL the books so I can get an additional two or three hours of sleep each night. Craziness. Pimples..eyebags.. Oh, the horror!

Hey, is Bella's baby a vampire? Is that why Edward wants to get rid of "that thing"? Hahaha! I'm barely on the 150th page..on Jacob's book. Ha, Jacob. That guy..

OMG! Speaking of Twilight, news goes around that there will be a Filipino version of Twilight on ABS-CBN. WHICH SUCKS MAJOR. [[Twilight = Takipsilim --- how gay can that sound?!]] They're out to ruin the essence of the book + movie. Hello! The thought alone makes me shudder. I'm glad I don't have to put up with primetime TV on weekdays because of work. I'm glad I'll miss whatever suck-ass Twilight version they'll be airing on television. ACK.

I wanna go home and shut up and sleep.

If my station weren't placed on the aisle, I would have gotten some napping moments. Haha. I'm so sleepy. What a boring day.
