i'll be home soon..

hi!

It's Wednesday afternoon and I'm leaving on Saturday morning. How SAD is that?! I don't want to go! Not just yet! I'm enjoying life too much here in Paris. Plusss, when I get back it'll be time for FINALS. Oh no!! I'm not prepared. I haven't done any work (at all!) for school..and I think I'll fail (and will have to repeat) a few classes. Argh. I've kind of accepted the fact that I'll have to repeat COMGOVT and DIPCORR..it's like.."the price Chrisfel must pay for having a swell life in Paris!" Haaaa. =(

Well..the past weekend was TONS of fun! On Saturday we went on a shopping galore -- at Strasbourg (where there are tons and tons of cheap clothes and shoes! oh, such looove!) and at Tatis, where there are a bazillion CHEAP stuff of EVERYTHING! Haha. So now my luggage is overflowing with clothes. Plus, I came to Paris with THREE pairs of shoes; now I'm going home with SIX pairs of shoes! How lovely! I think my luggage will really exceed the limit -- hence, I'll leave a pair of old pants (and shoes?) in the hotel..and if I still exceed, I'm really going to have to pay. (eeewww!!! that money could go to PASALUBONG!)

Anyway.

Saturday night, we went back to the American Church (Mildred's acquainted with some people from the Filipino Fellowship there) and we helped decorate the church with Christmas stuff! Awww, it was lovely! Two really huge (REAL & FRESH) Christmas trees and lots and lots of Christmas decors. Then we slept over at Tita Juvy's apartment because she was taking us to DISNEYLAND PARIS the next day! Yay!

So.

We all pretty much got up early Sunday morning and went straight to Disney. We were there the entire day -- until around 10 in the evening! It rained during the afternoon, but it was all worth it! I loooved the parade! It was sooo beautiful! And the princes were so handsome! Hahaha! Aladin even looked down on us (me! haha! feelerssss!), tipped his cap, winked, and blew kisses towards our (my! haha!) direction! It was lovely! We were at the edge of the Main Street sidewalk too, so we had a really awesome view from where we were standing! (No heads or people in front of us whatsoever! Yay!) But yeah, Cinderella's prince was the most handsome of all! Haha! And I wanted to run after Mickey Mouse!!!!

Perks at Disney:
- it only cost us 20euros to get in (instead of 45++) because Tita Juvy had a friend who worked there
- shopping at the Disney Store with THIRTY PERCENT DISCOUNT ON EVERYTHING because Tita Juvy had a friend who also worked there!! (Yayness to Filipinos abroad! Saludo ako sa inyo!)
- the rides!! Space Mountain = my fave ever!
- while on the ride at "It's a Small World" this really cute guy was sitting just behind me..and Tita Juvy decided to embarrass the life out of me (and Rachel, cuz she was sitting next to me) and took an *OBVIOUS* photo of me with him in the background..all the while she's saying *really LOUD* "sabihin mo sa Pilipinas BOYFRIEND mo sya..bilis, kunwari BOYFRIEND mo!!!" And we're all laughing outloud and the dude obviously gets it because he started to smile also (I mean, who wouldn't understand the word "boyfriend"?!) and after the pic, Tita goes out of her way to even thank the guy! She's like, "Merci, ah!" We're like..oh no, get us out of this ride!! Hahaha!

Downside at Disney:
- it rained and we were literally freezing our heads off!!!

So all this week, we're doing shopping for pasalubong. I have a really, really, really (shall I stress further) loooong list. I'll come home and be poor and I won't have money left to pay for excess baggage. Lovely, lovely. (Not!)

Oh, and I love love love school (Alliance Francaise, that is). Things are really looking up with me and my espagnol-speaking friendsss. Hahaha. Yayness much. =)

All I'm excited about going home is seeing the fam and EATING filipino food. Haha.
