21 days.

I counted the pages; today is the 21st day since getting that message from the Lord.

Though, I was reminded earlier, as we were on the highway, this verse on one of the electric billboards flashed:

Many are the plans in a person’s heart,
but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.
Proverbs 19:21

I wouldn't have it any other way, really. I would like the Lord to direct my steps with His guidance and wisdom. As a spoiled daughter of the King of Kings, I have confidence in His promises for me. When it happens, it'll be an extremely pleasant surprise.

I just hope I remember to wear waterproof eyeliner when it does because I will cry (in awe of His goodness and favor in my life).

I'm super excited, Lord. (But also, please calm my racing heart.)
