the dog days are over!
Currently listening to Florence + The Machine. I have been listening to Slow Club, intensely, for the past two weeks and I think we need a little bit of change. Haha. I kinda miss my hip hop stuff. Kanye West, Jay-Z, DMX. Yo yo yo.
Happiness hit her like a bullet in the back.
Yesterday was one of those really, really, really good days. Last week was way too crazy, especially on that particular Friday the 30th! Of course end of the months are always a b/tch in one way or another, but that's what makes it all so thrilling in the workplace, right? Anyway, I'm glad I brought the car to work last Friday because I worked overtime! That has never happened before. Crazy.
This is how I looked on that very special Friday the 30th:
5 folders. 5 Excel files. Other shizz on the side. Hahahahaha.
I really might have to start wearing eyeglasses soon.
I managed to submit all but one document, but come Sunday evening, I started revising all those I've submitted on Friday and made revisions until 3am (I kind of hated myself for submitting half-ass work) and e-mailed everything to ze superior. Haha. So of course I was on a roll on Monday.
I just want to show these:
What my little board looked like before the 30th.
What Isabel has done on the evening of the 30th, before she left and BEFORE I CHECKED EVERYTHING OFF THE LIST. That is all.
So yes, now I can definitely say that the dog days are over. (For now.)

Last weekend, since December hit, Mother decided that I needed to replace my curtains. HAHA! She sewed yellow ones for me. They are so pretty and I love them! It's always so bright in my room now during the daytime (it used to be a little dark because of the thick pink curtains). The brightness of the yellow in my room makes me happy. =)
I should take a daytime shot too.
I spent most of the weekend saving photos from my Multiply account. I learned I have more than 840 (yes, eight-hundred forty!) photo albums and tens of thousands of photos stored in my Multiply account! Let's not get started with the videos and blog entries! It was fun because of all the reminiscing (I started posting in 2005), but it was also very, very exhausting. O_o Imagine going through all those photos!!!
So I took "breaks" in between.
This is also how I look like when I am not thinking of anything.
Just listening to music and staring into nothing. (Or Louis' beautiful face on my wall.)

Our famous neighbor has a lot of Christmas spirit -- and Christmas lights! Her house is undoubtedly beautifully illuminated at night. (But wow, the electricity bill!)
Can you see my mother? She is in her 'walk around the village' getup.
I ate a lot of spaghetti and a giant and a half of grilled hamburger for dinner so I stayed a bit on the roof to watch the lights from her house because I was feeling really sick from all the food. (Why staying at home can really make me faaaaat. Pops can really cook. It's wonderful and not so at the same time. Hay.)

Monday morning was really lovely because my mother came into my room and told me my books have arrived. I love love love getting packages! (Granted, I ordered them for the UK, but still.) It feels so nice. Another package from Amsterdam came as well. I love reading my name on the giant envelopes from across the world. It's a pretty amazing feeling.
Two new books!!! I can't wait to read them!!!

My Christmas Spirit has been very active as well. Last week (during the really crazy week -- and even the week before that), I would take short breaks from the 'real' work and attempt to create Christmas decors.
I love how the wreath turned out! The snowflake looked more like a flower and needed to be worked on. But still. =)
I took advantage of the extra free time last Tuesday and my workstation looked like this:
I was finally able to put up the 'tree' as well, with the help of Teri and Janine. :)
THANK YOU, PINTEREST!!!
It still lacks 'ornaments' and such. I hope I can work on it later!
I brought some materials home last Tuesday night because I thought I'd work a bit more with the snowflakes and the snowman...but I didn't really have enough energy to do so. :'(
However, I did end up working on the names for Secret Santa. (Our themes for our code names is Disney, as suggested by Teresa. HAHA!)

Yesterday (Wednesday) was an amazingly beautiful day as well! Before I left the house, I ordered my special gift online and ended up leaving ten minutes later than the usual. I was expecting to be late for work, but surprisingly, there was no traffic! God is so amazing. =')
But of course, I need to be more responsible as well, especially when it comes to time.
There was a meeting, but when I returned to my station, I ended up talking a little bit to Bitok. Turns out the thing he ordered for me (as a gift) from my Pinterest arrived at their house!!! I was so excited and he was too that he ended up showing me a photo of it! Hahahaha! It was supposed to be a surprise!
It's the loveliest thing and my Baby Brother is the sweetest for getting it for me! Love it! :')
---
Two more workdays left! I can't wait for pay day on Monday! HAHAHA! I really need to get started on my Christmas shopping sooooooon! :)
Anyway, that's it for now. I really need to sleep earlier. And pluck the little hair off my eyebrows. And sleep. Mostly sleep.
Yay, Thursday! Favorite day of all the weekdays! =)
