I love Manila. // I cleaned my room!
After church yesterday, we went to Manila yet again. I was originally supposed to join the tour group to have an Intramuros adventure of sorts, but what can I do, I am a snob and decided not to partake of it because once again, I thought it would be better if I toured on my own. So much for striving to be more sociable. Ha! (But really, I looked at who the attendees were and there was no potential 'new friend' so I said no. Haha. Maybe next month since it's a monthly thing anyway.) =)
Mother and I like to take "tourist shots" while Pops does his thing with his philatelic club. :)
The water was icky and stinky. Hahahaha!
So instead of Intramuros, Mother and I decided to go to Divisoria. I love Divisoria for all that it is -- millions (an exaggeration, no less) of people squeezing their way through the streets, cheap cheap cheap items of all kinds at the bangketa, salespeople luring shoppers to buy from them, little kids with snot dripping from their noses with grease-smeared skins running around like they're bosses, shoppers haggling like crazy. I absolutely love all of it! In fact, once Mother and I got off the jeepney, I was squealing and clapping my hands like a little child, going, "I loooove Divisoria, Nanay!" Hahahaha! Every. Single. Time.
Anyway, I was finally able to purchase some Christmas decors for the workplace. Some of the stuff were quite expensive (because 'tis the season?), but we'll just have to make the most of the things I bought and improvise. I'm sure we can buy lots of materials from National Book Store or something -- which means I'm going to need to spend more time on Pinterest looking for DIY Christmas ideas. Hohoho. I'm actually pretty excited. =) I bought Christmas lights for our home, too!!! We'll be wrapping our mango tree with lights. Hehehe. (We honestly don't decorate much during Christmas and we usually just put up some lights, at most. All good.) And I bought sparklers! Because they're cute and they were cheap so I can light them up whenever I want. It hadn't really occurred to me until we got home that new year's is a little far off. Haha. Whatever. Sparklers are awesome. I bought a ton of unnecessary items as well, which is what usually happens when I'm at Divi. Hohoho. I tried scouting for possible Christmas giveaways, but nothing really struck me so...I don't know. I will be returning next month for sure, though. I expect madness. =)
Here are more photos of me being an only child (HAHA), forever bonding with the most awesome parents. :)
Panoramic shots are the shizznit. I thought I'd play with my beloved camera for a bit, while I waited for ze parents to finish their business transactions. :)

(My absolute favorite!)
Baby Juki in Manila -- again! =) I love it when we take the car to Manila and I get to be in the backseat the whole time. Haha! But I do miss taking the bus! That's fun for me too. :)
I really want to be able to "tour" Intramuros one of these days though. I haven't been able to trace Jose Rizal's steps, which I have been pretty excited about, so hopefully next time! Or anytime soon!

I was dead tired when we got home and I even managed to nap for a bit. But I couldn't stand all the mess around my room so I cleaned. If there is one thing that one should learn about me, it is that I abhor cleaning meticulously. Now, if you asked me to organize things, I would be more than delighted to. But cleaning and wiping dust off? Man, hate it. (Though maybe I'd like it a bit more if I weren't allergic to dust, just like my mother.) Haha. We are strange. Anyway, I found the courage to really clean my room and now it looks pretty, as it should be. Mother says it'll last for only a day, then went on to give me a lecture about putting everything away immediately so that my clothes and things do not stack up here and there. (Because, honestly, my room tend to look like a boy's on 'normal days'. I swear, if I get my own place, I will hire a cleaning lady at least once a week. LOL!) Aside from the tidying up, I also managed to do my laundry and put up this short line of Christmas lights around my beloved Louis Garrel. :)
I think I'll be keeping the lights around him like that forever. It works well as a 'reading lamp'. :)
Let's hope my room stays as 'neat' for more than a day. Ha!
I see Louis wherever I am in the room. Just the way I like it. ♥
What's currently on my bedside table (mini shelf).
I love love love looooove the 'new' lighting in my room. It's so soft. :")
I don't need to turn my main light nor my little lampshade on, thanks to the Christmas lights. :)
I am just in love with all of it.
Life will look like this more frequently.
(Which means less socializing. HAHA.)
(Also: hipster alert?! LMAO.)
Capping the night/Sunday off with sparklers! =)
These are so awesome. I've lit up a lot of 'em earlier. Way too much fun!

I'm on leave later. I don't know how I feel about not going to work, truth be told.
I'm happy that I get to have an extra day off, but the other half of me wants to be in the office to finish all the things I'm supposed to finish because deadlines are yet to be met!!!
Okay, yes. I ought to enjoy my extra rest day. =)
(Though I sense I'll be doing some real work here at home. Typical me. -_-)
I shall do my best to laze around and not think about work.

Happy Monday, beautiful world! =)
