VS Food

I have been having nothing but boiled eggs, tofu, tossed salad, and fruits all week. Haha. It's not really much of a problem, but my sweet tooth likes to act up every now and then. Hence the crackers and the occasional bar of dark chocolate. But honest to goodness, when I indulge in something really good but at the same time really unhealthy, I feel sick to my stomach afterwards and I end up doing extra exercises. T_T

Dinner for two consecutive nights.

I've had a pear, tossed salad in red wine vinaigrette dressing, and a packet of honey graham crackers two consecutive days now. Very filling & healthy! Such food truly make me happy. (But tofu and chicken whites in vinegar, soy sauce and toasted garlic is still the best! Hehe.)

But with the heat and all, I've been craving for popsicles since Monday. Finally satisfied that craving tonight! I don't know if I should feel bad about it or what, but it is just soooo good. It's less fattening than a Magnum or a Cornetto cone, I'd say. Besides, I haven't had these in months!!! ^_^

Double (Twin?) Popsicles > Magnum

Also, I'm definitely in a long-term relationship with Chuck Bartowski. Hahaha! Nerdy, cute, awkward, tall, smart, impulsive. Yes, I think I'm falling for him. LOL. Unfortunately, I don't get to spend as much time as I'd like with Chuck; I only end up being with him when I'm doing my make up exercise late at night or before I prepare for work. Hahaha!

I call this one The Chuck Effect.

If there's anything to dislike about the weekends, it would be the amount of food intake. Pops prepares what I want (and so much more!) of course, but it's another story when I eat out with friends. Results could be extremely damaging. Hahaha! Why are all the unhealthy food soooooo good?! Gah!

Cheat days are fun days! ^_^

Last Sunday, I hung out with Bea and Belle at Akihabara Café, which was tons of fun! Along with the fun is eating, of course! I had a green-coloured mango crepe, chai tea, and a breakfast sandwich (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, ham, egg, bacon). Hahaha! It was crayyyy! But the food was totally awesome (and fatty).

Hence the need to push harder. I've been quite lazy this week, I think. I've been exercising much lesser  than the previous week, which really ought to be the other way around. Le sigh. (I still make up for it during my Chuck moments, somehow. Hehe.)

Anyway, I'd also really, really, really like to try the Insanity Workout. I've heard of this from a while back and it just seems effective. Actually, it is effective! One of my friends have done this and now she has abs. O_O I don't exactly want abs; I just want a flat stomach. Hehe. But as I've mentioned, I'm not 100% aiming to lose weight; rather, I'm aiming to be healthier. ;)

Still, I don't think it'd hurt to have abs on me. Hihihi.

I think I need a real trainer or a group of people I can do these things with on a daily basis, however. Sixty days is long; if I just pop the DVD into the laptop and do the workout at home by myself, I'd collapse or get really lazy and stop altogether. Hahaha! A bit more body conditioning and I'm totally going to go for the whole Insanity Workout thing. Weeeee! Kinda excited and scared, just thinking about it. LOL!
