Mexican Night!
I woke up extra early today and went for a walk. I did a little bit of running as well. I noticed that my running pace has gotten faster, but I also became tired a little too quick and was woozy afterwards. I think I need to take in more carbs.( ̄~ ̄;)Total run + walk time: one hour & thirty-five minutes.
It was a great day + evening overall. I took a nap (my body was seriously aching, gah!), did a bit of writing and reading in the afternoon. I couldn't put Aleph down; such a good read! But I eventually had to put the book aside to get ready for dinner at ATC. ( ゚▽゚)
Bitok and I were in the mood for Mexican food so of course we headed off to Mexicali. Carbs overload for suuuuure! I had a burrito AND an enchilada! Oh, and quesadillas and nacho chips. LOL! We love a good hearty Mexican meal every now and then! I haven't eaten that much (due to my strict diet) in soooo long! Mother was nearly in tears because she couldn't eat all her food on the plate. Haha, so cute! Bitok and I pretty much forced and encouraged one another to finish everything. Toki even finished Mother's half burrito. Anyway, we left the restaurant with tummies that seemed to have doubled or tripled its sizes. HAHA!

Back to strict diet + exercise for me. I was seriously dying!!! HAHA!
We then walked around a little and visited Tita Sam's art gallery. Bitok's paintings are still displayed by the window. I'm such a proud big sister! It was so cool to see his paintings there. ヾ(^∇^)

We visited Tito John and Tita Cely before going off to ATC. They're leaving for New Zealand (for good) on Thursday. They've been spending quite a lot of time with us in our house these past few months. I'm going to miss them tons! But I'm also excited for them because at least they'll be closer to their children and grandchildren. Can't wait to go for a vacation in New Zealand!!! (*^▽^)/
I'm going to miss their dog, Princess, too.
She needs to go to quarantine for six months in Singapore; she will be leaving next month as well. After Singapore, she's going to join the rest of the family in New Zealand. Awww. :') My parents will be coming around every now and then to visit Princess with her temporary caretaker. Princess is a giant German Shepherd, who is also the sweetest! She's friends with King. Princess ran by me again earlier tonight and nearly toppled me over because she's just so big and heavy! As a matter of fact, her tail is so heavy that when it hit me, it kinda hurt a little. HAHA!

Earlier this afternoon, I was watching the impeachment trial with Bitok and Mother. It was kind of boring until Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago started speaking on the podium. She is just amaaaaaazing! I love her brains. But of course, after watching and a bit of discussion, Mother suggested I pursue law. She's usually encouraging me to do so because there was a point in my life where I wanted to become a lawyer and eventually work for the ICJ (International Court of Justice), where Sen. Miriam has earned a position. (Why I love her so much; she's definitely a role model in terms of intellect.) Anyway, Mother says I should go back to school and take up law whilst I'm still young and single. I would if I could afford to pay for my own tuition and if I didn't feel so lazy with the thought of studying (this time, REAL studying) once again. Hihihi. But yeah, I still think about law school every once in a while despite having a different focus now. (God knows what my focus is, but the decision still solely relies on Him. I need to listen to His voice better.)
Well, that was my serious thought of the day. HAHA.

Four-day weekend well-spent!
Life is so good! I'm so blessed with God's awesomeness. \(^ ^)/
