Le premier jour de 2012.

At quarter to twelve last night, we decided to go on the rooftop to watch the fireworks. (Which is a Coyoca Family tradition of sorts because we don't purchase fireworks.) The sky was so bright with all the booming and smoke from...everywhere. But it was so much fun to watch the fireworks! I love our rooftop! :)

Bitok and I, however, worried a bit for the environment because of all the smoke. Hehe.

Had our midnight / New Year prayer then it was time to eat! ^_^

I love this! (Easily my favorite scene from The Gospel -- a must watch!) That was the first song sung in the worship this morning at church. Terrific message, which was entitled "New Year or New You - Its Your Choice" by Pastor Nates. (Go watch / listen to it now!)

1. Refocus the Who in your life. (For you / For others / Unto the Lord) - Who are you doing things for?

2. Intensify your focus on character issues - Develop the following: love not lust; reliance (on God) not independence (from God); humility not pride; gratitude not presumption; clear conscience (repentance) not guilt; integrity not responsibility; diligence not laziness; eagerness not compulsion; generosity not selfishness; submission not self-advancement; courage not cowardice; contentment not greed.

3. Develop a daily focus with Him.

I'm eager to continue walking with my Father this year. I am eager to have a closer and more meaningful and more intimate relationship with Him. I'm so ready! ^_^

Totally lovin' this song so so so much at the moment! (I like the Lakewood version, too!) The lyrics are awesome. :) I've always loved the worship before the message, but it was extra special this morning for me because I was totally into the music / worship feel of it all. It's been a while since I really participated in the singing. Hihihi. :)

I need to get a lot of things done this month. I have absolutely no idea what the future holds, but I trust in God that He will give me what is best. He always does! So many exciting things up ahead! (Seriously, can you feel the excitement in my blood? Hehe!) Pray, pray, pray. Faith, faith, faith. ^_^
