I still can't get over this.

February 2011 x December 2011 // Physical transition of the year!

Yesterday Isabel asked me to submit three photos of myself. As I almost always carry my external drive with me, I decided to go through folders to choose the said photos. Lo and behold, I came across that FAT photo of myself from February. That was taken at Waterfront Hotel in Cebu. The one on the right was taken just about a week ago. I was absolutely amazed with the apparent changes. I never realized how fat I have been! I had no idea I was that fat! Crazy.

Of course I've done a bunch of things in between: I stopped eating rice, I stopped eating beef, I avoid pork as much as I can, I count calories and protein, I exercise, I drink tons of water + hot tea. The most effective thing I've done, I'd say, was the 14-day regimen. I know I said I'd get on it again, but TL Eagle says I should wait after three months because I could get really sick if I go through the same cycle once more. So I decided to continue eating protein-filled food, but adding in a bit of carbs every now and then. I need to carry on with my morning walks as well for better, faster results. (I've been very lazy these past two weeks, no thanks to the bed weather in the morning!) I still manage to do jacknives though. :)

Disgusted with my past self. Happy with the present, but not quite 100% satisfied, so I'm definitely going to continue taking care of my body by regulating my food & drink intake and exercising. Consistency. Commitment. Courage. Go away, laziness. I need to lose about ten more pounds. Hihihi.
