Good morning, World!

My Tumblr dashboard knows what to say to me. ^_^

It's a beautiful day and I live in a beautiful world. (A crazy world, no doubt, but beautiful nonetheless.) Life is wonderful despite its many twists and turns. It's a lovely morning and I feel great!

---

The sight of sweat marks make me happy. Yes, I am strange.

The insomniac and night owl me actually slept before 1 am and got up by 6am. I was walking by 6:26am (haha, I take note of the time, of course) with Florence singing in my ears. It was such a lovely walk! I was a little skeptical about walking by myself, but it turned out to be really nice. Just me, my music, and my thoughts. The only thing that would have made it better is if strangers smiled at each other and greeted one another a "good morning!" Haha. But I realize people here aren't as friendly as those in other countries because they might either think you're a) a creeper, or b) a mugger. LOL.

I consulted with TL Eagle yesterday about an effective way to really lose fats and he told me about a 2-week regimen. I am not to have any carbohydrate intake, but must stack up on protein. This is to burn the stored fats in my body, which is essentially what is keeping me fat. SO NOW IT ALL MAKES SENSE! ^_^ He says it has to be coupled with hour-long walks, too. No jogging or running as of yet. Let's see how this works out!

I was also doing a bit of reading with regards to ketosis and I'm liking it. I'm actually a bit nervous (I don't know how I'll live without carbs for two weeks!) but also very excited about it, should the results be really good. I don't know what to expect out of all this (aside from feeling whoozy every now and then, according to TL Eagle), but I do have my hopes up.

But really, my main focus is to be healthier and to feel good about myself. In fact, I feel good about myself right now and it's just Day 1! Haha! Currently reading about stuff that I should be eating and drinking. More (green) tea! Yogurt! Eggs! Chicken meat! (I don't feel comfortable about stacking up on pork and beef despite being good protein sources.) Hahaha! Sounds good to me.

So thankful for great advice coming from health buff TLs (Eagle & Jeff). HAHAHA. And the Internet, of course. I'm learning even more about how my body works and ways to keep it healthy and it's just been awesome. For these two weeks, I'm taking a break from my Wii workouts and doing the ketosis thing. May God give me strength in this endeavor. Hihihi. I feel great!

These fats have got to go!!!
(And yes, of course I was wearing a sweatshirt over that to sweat more!)

The best part of the morning? Coming home with King waiting by the gate after walking for an hour and eighteen minutes. Naturally, I gave him some good rubbin' behind the ears and on the belly and I got dog kisses all over my face in return! Awww! He's the sweetest, best dog everrr! That totally made my heart melt. I love King! Heehee.
