half past 3am again.
So Taking Back Sunday's "The Ballad of Sal Villanueva" is on repeat. Again. (And I thought I had let the song retire last month.) It's odd how I was "in the mood" for this song earlier this evening (okay, last night). The song itself tells a rather interesting story (haha), but I'm not as interested in the lyrics as I am with the sound itself. (And yes, that's coming from a big "lyrics person".) As I was listening to it, I just couldn't help but be amazed with the drums in the song. Crazy guitars, but of course that's expected from TBS. I was just like, "Ang galing ng drums." I watched live performances for the same song, but who focuses so much on the drummer, right? Pity.
Then my slight love for Travis Barker rekindled. Teehee. I think Travis gets to keep the "Chrisfel's Favorite Drummer" title. HAHA. He's hella uh-ma-zing. HAWT HAWT HAWT. *_*
No idea he did Busta Rhyme's "Don't Touch Me". Effin' love this song as well. So I've posted that ^ even though he has tons of other awesome solos. Ha. I also pretty much love this remix. (Okay, I kinda lied because I just really enjoy watching Travis beast it up on the drums. Heehee.)
I'm pretty sure my eardrums are about to burst. So I'm also putting this song on loop just the same to "balance" things out. HAHA! Florence + The Machine is also seriously amazing. Plus, she always has these very interesting music videos. Anyway, my iPod has had a very good week, I think. Life wouldn't be the same without my iPod, so, thank you, Steve Jobs. RIP. :'(
What a week this has been! #ReallyPointlessPost |
