Weekend, gone too soon.

I'm pretty sure my running + walking activities in the morning have been giving me the extra energy (not to mention happiness!) during the past few days. I love coming in the house before 8 in the morning (we usually go out to walk by 6am), all sweaty and nearly out of breath. My legs haven't been aching all that much either, so yay! I must be getting used to it. I just wish I can be consistent and commit to this morning routine. :)

Yesterday I stayed at home the entire day and evening, but I still had a lovely time just relaxing in the most comfortable place on the planet. I drank one too many cups of tea, discovered the awesomeness that is Globe's SUPERUNLI ALLTXT service where I ended up simultaneously exchanging text messages with about five people the entire day and evening. HAHAHA. I'm kinda glad I switched to Globe. Well, that was fun. Normally, my phone just sits somewhere in a bag, but yesterday my fingers were just on a roll with texting. LOL I kinda really want a new, decent phone soon. GAH!

Still, Saturday went by too soon. Night suddenly came around and I ended up just writing a bit and reading through (and slightly updating!) my word list. The parents also bought Bitok and I a lamp each from Tito John & Tita Cely's garage sale. I just love how dramatic the lighting in my room is when I only have my lamp on. ^_^

The day was a little bit more adventurous yesterday, Sunday. Awesome Friends and I were scheduled to meet at SM and head on off to wherever the car would take us. Haha. But Bea ended up getting here by lunch time, Aizel followed and Jy and Nates came afterwards. I love how absolutely comfortable everyone is in our home. ^_^ We called Richie up before leaving the house so everyone got the chance to talk to him. Somehow, Richie doesn't seem so far away. :)

We drove off (I joked about how we ought to go off to Tagaytay instead haha) and our first stop was Grams Diner at Molito. I kinda love that restaurant...it's so quiet and it's just a really nice place to really chill in. (Same with Bo's Coffee -- a lot better than Starbucks, I believe -- in the same area, definitely!) After a few hours of eating and talking, we decided to head off to BF ParaƱaque to get desserts. We ended up at El Flav in Pergola, where we had alcoholic ice cream. 'Twas surprisingly very delicious! We spent about an hour or so there. Afterwards, we couldn't decide whether to just chill in a coffee shop or in a karaoke room...but eventually decided on Turtle (formerly known as Havana LOL).

It's just really so nice to have such awesome company. I honestly feel like they're my additional siblings. It's just so nice to be open with them with just about anything. And to ask for prayers just the same. :) I pretty much bombarded Jy with some medical questions. Haha. It's great to know that despite the seriousness of the matter, we were all still able to laugh at it all the while getting clear answers. It's great to have friends who are in different fields, too. Hehe. It's just nice, really, because sometimes all you need is someone who will listen

I definitely had tons of fun yesterday / last night! Wouldn't trade these people for the world (too bad there were others missing). Thank God, too, that in ALL the places that we went to, there was always the perfect parking spot especially for me, who still has a slight phobia with regards to parking. Haha. But really, Thank You, Lord, for just being with us and keeping us out of harm as I drove. ^_^

I'm definitely enjoying driving so so so much more these days! So much so that I decided to drive each of them home: Bea at CAA, Jy and Nates in Manuela, and Aizel in Verdant. I love driving with good company and good music. But I also love driving on my own (I loved how Alabang-Zapote was so clear during the drive home; I was going 60-70kph hihihi). Awesome weekend was OH-SOME! ^_^

More than blessed! Thank You, Lord. :)
