What is life.
Tumblr has been down for more than half a day and I kinda miss it. T_T But the comments on the linked article were totally entertaining; it felt like I was looking through random Tumblr posts. HAHA. What is life. It's safe to say, I guess, that although Tumblr is my source of sanity in the office, I'm not entirely addicted to it. Yet. I loooove it so much, sure, but I can pretty much live without it. What's Blogger for, right? :P And weheartit and beautyineverything and polyvore and looklet...haha! I just wish Facebook was down instead of Tumblr. Facebook is so boring. What is life. Haha! --- ![]() So I finally did the one thing I was fearful of behind the wheels: I hit something and left a mark on my car. I was sad about it for a minute, but it didn't make me feel like, "Oh gosh, I don't wanna drive anymore." If anything, I think it pushed me more to get that inner confidence (naks!) to get behind the wheels more. I actually feel happy, excited and less scared when I'm driving; I think I may be getting the hang of it. Sure, my thighs still get all sweaty while sitting on the driver's seat, but I'm sure that'll pass eventually. I just need to get my parking skills ON! That was the cause of my mini "crash" by the way: I was practicing how to park and I went over the stopper and crashed into a tree. Small dent on the hood, which insurance says they will cover for, thank goodness. :) (Or if the process takes forever, I might have to find a place to get it fixed in and shoulder the cost. We'll see how it goes.) I'm just essentially happy that God let me hit a tree, causing damage to myself, instead of damaging another car or worse, a person. More practice! So there. I think I'm finding a bit of success, despite the accident, with my driving. I was hoping to get my license by the end of this year, but I guess that'll have to wait until 2011. God, help me steer the wheel correctly to get into the parking slot easily. Thank You. :) --- ![]() Christmas is coming up and it doesn't feel that way. It's still so hot and sunny in the afternoons and it's not cold enough in the evenings. But you can feel Christmas coming because there are tons of sales at the malls, extreme traffic on the roads and everyone's just playing Christmas songs. Haha. I'm getting a bit into the spirit as I listen to a few Christmas albums. It's so soothing. I just wish we had snow in the country or something. I'd love to experience a winter wonderland someday.
--- I'd love to blog more here. ;-) Blogger, I've missed you. <3 |
