Tumblr and other stuff

Hella addicted to Tumblr...still am after a year and a half. Could it be a disease of sorts? Haha. Anyway, it was "Purple Day" the other day (too much rhyming here) and it just so happens that my current Tumblr headshot matches the entire purple thing. :) And yes, I do support the people, as individuals, in the LGBT community; after all I do have friends belonging in the said group. It's all good, but there are still a few things about the whole issue that I'm not so complacent about. Oh well, that's another story in itself.

Two weekends ago, we drove over to Divisoria for some major cheap-stuff-shopping! Jem came along and well, shopping in Divisoria is always tons of fun. A bunch of awesome brand new items sold for a buck or two; what's not to love? As I am head over heels in love with Paris, France, I immediately bought these for a hundred bucks each:

I think it's the bomb diggity. Haha! , I bought a bunch of clothes, too, so I was able to throw out (or, okay, fine, "set aside to give away") some of my older clothes. Though I'd really like to get back to sewing clothes sometime soon; I've got tons of patterns lying around here and there after all. What I haven't got is time. *sigh*

Wearing the Eiffel Tower around my neck on a (almost!) daily basis will serve as a reminder of my dream to return to France one day. Or live there, whichever would be feasible in the future. :)

So now I'm currently on a hunt for a cross necklace. If the Eiffel Tower necklace serves as a reminder of my dreams, I'd love to have one that reminds me of God. It sounds a little off; obviously, we should ALWAYS have God in our hearts and minds, but I would just like a visible representation of what I believe in. A little thing that I would see and bring me to think, "Yes, God is with me." Hmm, this is so much harder to explain in words than what I had in mind. (If it doesn't make sense to you, it's because it's a personal thing.) But yes, a cross necklace. :)

This design is probably the "winner". :D Yes, I know it's Tiffany, but I'm obviously not going to spend that much on a necklace. The design is really simple yet classy & elegant in its own way. I just want a small piece though. Anyway, it's so lovely. :)

In other news, I'm currently missing my Bene High friends. They're awesome and I just need a day/night of laughter with these awesome friends. I miss all of them, even those who have gone out of the country. I guess, when I'm with them, I am reminded of how simple and carefree life once was. I need a time like that...soon. Sometimes I just feel so drained with everything that's going on in my life at the moment; everything that's going on inside my head. *sigh*

And this is what life is like right now.
